Official statement of TERRARISTIKA on the current press enquiry of the DPA
(08.08.2019) Due to the recurring similar questions in press enquiries and in order to counter insinuations and defamations by third parties, we have decided to take a public and fundamental position here on the questions posed to us by a DPA journalist.

TERRARISTIKA asks about the qualification of experts
(16.02.2016) Who is actually an "expert" in the determination of animal-specific issues? Constitutional law professor Dr. Dr. Spanger from the University of Bonn has asked himself this question and comes to important conclusions, which we have now made available to the members of the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety in personal letters.

TERRARISTIKA rejects NRW Hazardous Animals Act!
(31.08.2015) After having seen the expert opinion commissioned by TERRARISTIKA from the well-known administrative and constitutional lawyer Prof. Dr. Dr. Tade Matthias Spranger from the University of Bonn on the planned law on dangerous animals in North Rhine-Westphalia, TERRARISTIKA now also rejects this law. The various constitutional concerns are so serious that even "amendments" are out of the question - the law can probably no longer be saved. However, TERRARISTIKA has always been in favour of a legal regulation on the keeping of dangerous animals, and stands by its word to work towards a solution. However, a sense of proportion and an eye on the Basic Law should guide future considerations.
